VIBES
series RLC

L, C in series, output across R

Inductor, capacitor, resistor in a row, output taken across R. It rings. At one frequency the inductor and capacitor cancel and everything gets through; away from it, not much does.

f0 = 1 / (2π√(LC))   Q = (1/R)√(L/C)   BW = f0/Q

R = 100 Ω, L = 10 mH, C = 100 nF gives f0 = 5032.9 Hz, Q = 3.162 (that's √10), bandwidth 1591.5 Hz. The poles sit at s = -5000 ± j31225, with a zero at the origin.

Bode plot pole-zero

ngspice: phase crosses zero at 5032.9 Hz. The script says 5032.9. Close enough for a sweep with 400 points per decade.
