ou are the questioner. When you press ask, this page "taps", one tap a little under every second. When you think it has reached the right answer, press stop or any key. That is the whole game.

Without JavaScript nothing taps. The point survives anyway: the page cannot count to the answer, because it never knows it. Pfungst showed Hans did not either; he stopped when the person asking, without meaning to, signalled that he should.
