This site sets no cookies. The server sets none either, and there are no counters from anyone else, no analytics, no adverts, no fonts or scripts from other sites. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere.

A few small things are kept in your own browser (its local storage), on your machine only.

always kept

• vibes_consent: your answer to the note at the bottom of the page, so it is not asked again.
• vibes_tour: your save in the tour of the Institute (where you stood, what you carry, the notebook, sound settings).
• vibes_card and vibes_x: only if you take the card on the unsolved shelf, or type a code you found (the codes and the name you give). The tour reads them.

kept only if you say OK

• vibes_v90: the visit counter that only counts you, the time-of-day touches, and the 90s settings (dial-up, birds, themes).
• inside vibes_x, the pages with a tour mark you have read, which the tour can point back to.
• inside vibes_x, play: a count of typed sheets opened in the tour, and a mark if the door emblem was mirrored. Kept only after OK.
• vibes_sometimes: whether the tour has shown you the sometimes room.
