from The Marriage of Heaven and Hell
If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. Energy is Eternal Delight. The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom. Eternity is in love with the productions of time. The busy bee has no time for sorrow. The cistern contains, the fountain overflows.
To see a World in a Grain of Sand Put "Eternity is in love with the productions of time" next to the Tao, chapter one, and they rhyme. |
